The Process

When Dr. Matt arrives for your appointment, he’ll set up his table and equipment.  This only requires about a 6 foot by 4 foot space, so he will fit in most homes and apartments.  Once everything is set up, you and Dr. Matt will sit down and go over your history together; this is the most important part, as it dictates the course of treatment.  The history taking process typically takes 15-20 minutes.  After that, he will perform a brief exam consisting of palpation (feeling your spine for motion) and orthopedic testing.  Then Dr. Matt will perform a thorough full-spine and full-extremity Chiropractic adjustment.  Most patients experience immediate relief the first visit.  Finally, Dr. Matt will schedule your next visit and give you some post-visit instructions.  This whole visit typically takes about 45 minutes to one hour.

Dr. Matt ensures that you get the quality of care that you deserve.  Each subsequent visit, he will take as much time as necessary to get you feeling better; for most people, this is about 20-30 minutes.

In-home care is a tremendous benefit to both doctor and patient.  The majority of your health is driven by environment and lifestyle.  Since Dr. Matt performs his services in your home, he can observe your surroundings and make in-depth recommendations for life-style modifications.  His goal is to get you as self-sufficient as possible when it comes to managing your own health.
